The first woman to be named Mrs. Nutrition was Mrs. Nancy Tompkins.
Mrs. Tompkin served food to her guests, including her children, and encouraged them to eat and drink responsibly.
Mrs Tomp, who died in 2002, wrote, “I was proud to be the first woman who served food and drank responsibly to my children.”
She also wrote, We must always serve food and drinks to our children, so that they can grow into healthy and happy men and women, as they will.
This was a great example of the importance of eating and drinking responsibly.
