Vegan food can be a wonderful way to get your daily fix, but there are still some basic steps you need to take to get started.
Here’s everything you need and can do to start building your own vegan cafe.1.
Know your ingredientsIf you’ve been following our vegan food blog for a while, you’ve probably noticed we’ve started to add a lot of new recipes, including the ones you might be familiar with.
And with the arrival of Lenten Veganism, we thought it would be a good time to share some of the new recipes that we’ve discovered.
Here are some of our favourites:Beef and chicken curryWith our vegan curry, we’ve decided to use only one ingredient – chicken.
This is because, if you don’t know what it is, then it will be difficult to make your own.
Here’s how to make it:First, wash the chicken and then pat it dry in a pan.
You’ll need two large bowls of chicken stock, one for each dish.
Heat a small frying pan and add one cup of chicken broth and one cup water to it.
Heat on a low heat for about three minutes.
When it starts to simmer, add a spoonful of the chicken broth mixture.
You can stir it around, or just pour it straight into the pan.
Add another large bowl of chicken and bring it to a boil.
Add a few more cups of water and bring to a low boil for about 10 minutes.
Once it’s boiled, remove the lid and let the chicken cool down in the pan for five minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan, including salt and pepper.
When the chicken is almost completely cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside to cool.2.
Get a blenderNow we’ll start using a blender to make our chicken curry, but this isn’t exactly the same process as a food processor.
This will be our first real foray into vegan food, so you’ll need to have some experience with it to do this successfully.1) Cut a chicken in half, remove its skin, and scoop out the bone with a small spoon.
Then take out the meat and discard.2) Chop the chicken up with a fork, and then separate the bone into smaller pieces.3) Put the chicken pieces into a blender and blend them with a food mill or a food grinder.4) When the mixture is nice and smooth, add the coconut milk and a splash of water.5) Add the coconut, salt, and pepper and blend for a few minutes.6) Add your vegan chicken curry and mix until it’s thoroughly mixed.7) Pour into bowls and serve.
